To maximize learning, Workshop participants immerse themselves in Russian language and culture; living, working, and eating with fellow students and faculty on the Russian floor of the residence hall and by signing an immersion contract to speak only Russian for the duration of the program. You will be challenged, perhaps more than you anticipate, but those students who adhere to the pledge and maintain immersion make measurably more progress in Russian than students who do not. Immerse yourself in Russian this summer and see how much you can do!
