The Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures department is a natural environment for all those interested in the study of Slavic linguistics. Members of the faculty cover a broad spectrum of interests in both synchronic and diachronic Slavic linguistics, ranging over various theoretical and descriptive approaches and including experimental and laboratory research geared towards language pedagogy.
