Russell Valentino’s translation of Bosnian author Miljenko Jergović’s monumental family saga Kin, which was published by Archipelago Books in 2021, has been awarded as the Best Literary/Scholarly Translation into English by the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages.
