Russell Valentino’s translation of Bosnian author Miljenko Jergović’s monumental family saga Kin, which was published by Archipelago Books in 2021, has been shortlisted by the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages for the Best Literary/Scholarly Translation into English. Winners will be announced at the annual conference in February 2024.
