The IU Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures congratulates Elizabeth Skomp, who has been named Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Stetson University. She holds a B.A. from Indiana University (1998) and a Ph.D. from the University of London, which she attended as a British Marshall Scholar. Skomp previously taught at Williams College, DePauw University and the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She is also the past president of the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies.
