The department is sad to announce the death of Dr. John Bartle, who passed away in Utica, New York, at the age of 60 on June 10, 2022. An Associate Professor at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, Dr. Bartle earned his Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Indiana University.
